Their new co-educational Nursery School for 2 to 4 year olds

Falcons Pre-Prep in Chiswick have announced the opening of Falcons Nursery Chiswick, their new co-educational Nursery School for 2 to 4 year olds.

Liz McLaughlin, Head, tells us more about this exciting news: ‘I am thrilled to announce that from September, we will be expanding our Nursery to welcome 2 year olds.  In addition, we will be welcoming girls as well as boys, thus making our Nursery co-educational for children aged 2 - 4 years old. 

As a school that prides itself on delivering a first-class Early Years education, this expansion of our offering to younger children, including girls, allows us to ensure that we are providing not just the best start to any child's learning journey, but the right start.  By attending our Nursery, children will get used to school life from an early age and enjoy access to specialist teachers such as Music, Art and PE.  As a result, by the time they reach Reception, they will be more than ready to move onto their next stage of learning. 

We know that, particularly from Reception onwards where learning becomes more structured, boys and girls learn differently.  Therefore, we will continue to be a boys only school from 4+ as that enables us to deliver a very tailored education suiting their needs.  For girls leaving us at this time, we will provide them with the foundation for preparing for both non-selective and selective schools.  In addition, we will also support parents in the application process to help them gain entry to their preferred primary school.'
