Register by Wednesday April 16th or lose your right to vote
Elections for the Mayor of London and the London Assembly will be held on Thursday, May 1st and anyone wishing to vote that day has until Wednesday, April 16 to register.
For those who have recently changed addresses or boroughs will need to register before April's deadline if they wish to vote. Those wishing to vote by post must also submit an application form by Wednesday, April 16.
This deadline also applies to anyone who wants to cancel an existing postal vote or proxy facility.
Polling cards were hand delivered to all eligible voters last week and these these will indicate if you have a postal or proxy vote facility set up and give you time to cancel this if you wish.
