Students and alumni of Morley Opera to perform
St Mary's Church, Putney
July 25, 2025
St Mary’s Church on Putney High Street will come alive with the sounds of opera as students and alumni of Morley Opera present A Night at the Opera in support of The Brain Tumour Charity.
Under the musical direction of Panaretos Kyriatzidis, the concert on Wednesday 30 July begins at 8pm, with doors opening at 7:45pm. Tickets are priced at £15 and can be booked via TicketSource.
Morley Opera, part of Morley College London, is renowned for nurturing emerging vocal talent through its professional-level training in stagecraft and classical technique. Many of its alumni have gone on to perform with leading opera companies and pursue postgraduate studies at prestigious conservatoires.
The event will raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity, the UK’s largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours. Based in Hampshire, the charity is committed to improving survival rates and quality of life for those affected, while also campaigning for earlier diagnosis and better support services.
A Night at the Opera promises an evening of stirring arias and ensemble pieces, all in aid of a vital cause.
St Mary’s Church is at Putney High Street (SW15 1SN).
