Spring season continues with Robert Bridge performing pieces by Schumann

A series of free short concerts at All Saints’ Church, Putney Common continues this Sunday (23 March).

From noon to 12:30pm pianist Robert Bridge will be performing a programme designed to show the versatility of the instrument.

Robert has been rehearsing hard this week and he says, “I have really enjoyed getting inside the crazy and quirky world of Schumann's Humoresque over the last couple of months and I am giving it one last outing this Sunday as part of All Saints' Tunes@Noon recital series. If you are free do, please come along.

“As a bonne bouche I am planning to add another couple of short pieces by Schumann before and after the Humoresque: one of the Fantasiestücke as an aperitif and, if there is riotous applause after the Humoresque - actually if anyone claps at all - I might give the Toccata a whirl. “

All Saint’s Church is by Putney Common (SW15 1HL).
