A man hit by a bus on Roehampton Lane this Tuesday (4 December) afternoon has died from his injuries.

The 74-year-old male pedestrian passed away in the early hours of Sunday, 9 December.

The collision took place on Roehampton lane shortly before 3pm. An air ambulance was called to the scene and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital.

He has not been formally identified but his next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the bus was not arrested and police are continuing their investigation into the incident.

Officers from the Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have been driving in the area and who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
