Property Prices in Hammersmith Surge
Latest figures suggest record month for W6 homes
Below is a listing of all the properties that changed hands in the W6 area since December 2007.
The average price during the final month of last year was a record £574,983. This was sharply up on November when the average was £448,530. However, it should be pointed out that the overall average was reduced in November due to developments of flats being sold during the month including Bazalgette Court.
During December on the other hand there were a significant number of properties changing hands at the top end of the market with 5 going for over £1 million.
The average price of property in the post code over the fourth quarter of last year was £488,512. This compares to £545,735 in the previous quarter. Once again the average appears to have been influenced by the type of property changing hands and on a like for like basis properties were stable in price or rose during the period.
The prices will not reflect recent stock market turmoil and concerns about sub-prime lending in the U.S.
