This is very good news. I loved the Italians and will miss it desperately but The Toll House Deli appears to have every chance of being a good replacement. Shame we will have to wait until next year.

I agree particularly as this another independent business rather than a chain. This sector does seem to be getting very competitive though — Frankie's has been an undoubted success but with Little Sourdough Kitchen coming to Turnham Green Terrace there is a lot of choice. The lesson of the past is visit your favourite place often or it might not be there for you.

I honestly thought the novelty factor (if that's what it is) would wear off for Frankie's, but it hasn't - and the enormous queues remain. Good for them. Decent products and friendly people!

The front news have the wrong picture. The Toll House are moving to the smaller Italians Deli unit a couple of doors down , is not the one in the picture
