Dolly Parton RIP ….. BBC progs after News at Ten

Sadly Dolly Parton has passed away today. She was an absolutely remarkable entertainer, business woman, writer, philanthropist and many other accolades that are too numerous to mention. The BBC and probably many other channels are broadcasting programmes/concerts etc after News at Ten tonight should you wish to watch, record…. or whatever. RIP Dolly Parton.

Another 80 year-old has left us, gone home to the planet Transexual in the galaxy Transylvania. Tim Curry was born on 19th April 1946, just three months after Dolly Parton, and a couple of months before the Orange Man-Baby. There's just no justice !

Dolly and Dumbass Donald were almost exact contemporaries - she was born on 19th January 1946, he was born 14th June 1946. In the words of Lana Del Rey - "They say only the good die young, that just ain't right"Such different characters, growing up in very different circumstances in post-war America, and it was the one who grew up in poverty who turned out to be a far better person.
