Cattery or cat boarding options locally or nearby?

Hi All-I've moved to a local Airbnb while my home is renovated and refurbsihed for the next 6 months or so. My two 13yo cats, two good natured, friendly male siblings, came too. It works for me but i think the boys are bored and stressed as they can't go out. So I'm looking now for a good cattery or cat boarding option nearby for a period until January or February next year. Any suggestions?Thanks in advanceJeremy

Unfortunately a lot of people give very unhelpful advice like the previous poster about cats and boarding. Catteries are absolutely fine in terms of boarding, we use the Lions Den in Isleworth. That said, we have just lost our 23 year old cat, Tia, and would consider boarding a cat. We do have a dachshund, however! She is cat friendly.

Don't bother with a cattery. Moving a cat is the worst thing you can do for their wellbeing.  Their little world falls apart. When moved they need to be kept in one room for the first week with windows and doors tightly shut then inside for a further month again with windows and doors tightly shut or they'll escape.  They're not bored, they're upset at being moved.  Putting them in a cattery means yet ANOTHER move and they'll be even more depressed.  Have you got a laser pointer toy? That'll keep them occupied.  It's a pity you couldn't have left them at home and someone feed them once a day with an autofeeder set for 12 hours later with dry food.  Even with builders there, would have been better than moving them. Sorry to be blunt.
