I will remember those Saturday mornings when he would talk racing while sitting outside the George with his glass of wine, watching out for other passing dogs. Grrrr We go back about 30 years, but I'll always in recent years remember debit card gate at the George.😁

Sad to hear of this - we first met Roger in the Duke of York and both there, and then latterly at the George IV, enjoyed many a laugh and the occasional Chelsea ribbing.Will be missed.

Fortunately, I got to speak to Roger on the phone on Saturday. I didn't know at that time that he wouldn't make it to Sunday. I hadn't seen him much since I moved away from Chiswick, but I feel a huge sense of loss. R.I.P Roger.  The funeral is at Mortlake Crematorium Weds 29th April at 2.40pm.
