50-year work anniversary

Reading about Rosemary Manipon's outstanding 50-year anniversary (she must have started at a very young age!) on the home page, it got me thinking if long service achievements like hers will be a thing in the future.While the likes of London Underground and BT still have a good number of 'lifers', is the concept of staying put with an employer going to dry up as us boomers/Gen X folk retire?Well done to Rosemary!

I can well understand that plenty of people like the stability of working for the same employer all their working lives. It didn't suit me: I would get restless after a couple of years and mostly worked freelance to accommodate that!

Well done Rosemary 50 years in one place of work is a great achievement.I only managed 46 years in communication industry.
