A poisoned chalice for Mr Farage, or a golden opportunity?'He was elected as the MP for Newark at the 2014 by-election following the resignation of the Conservative Patrick Mercer after a cash-for-lobbying scandal. From 2015 to 2018 Jenrick was Parliamentary Private Secretary to Esther McVey, Michael Gove and Liz Truss, and Amber Rudd. He served as Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury under Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond from 2018 to 2019. In July 2019, Boris Johnson appointed Jenrick to be Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government; he held this position until he was dismissed in September 2021.'

Jenrick’s whole body demeanour is that of a very weak man. Definitely not a leader. A bit like Millibean and Stammer. Farage will have him for mincemeat if he doesn’t tow the line.

If Farage really needs him they with get on well, not been following it closely at all for awhile, I do find it a bit boring and don't like those politics programs either.

Reform requires experienced politicians to form a serious front bench should power come their way, so Farage must surely be in clover with two heavy weights from the Conservatives joining him this week, plus the expectation of a big Labour player coming next week.My penny worth on Farage and Jenrick getting along?Unless Jenrick learns something inside the inner Reform sanctum which displeases him, I believe the two of them working together can work.They both agree on three main points of contention:Immigration, Nonsensical net zero, NHS revaluation, Others (not so sure).Politics is not boring.Should be fun following the weekly manoeuvres.

Well, here is my take on the matter.Given all that has been said about him over the last 24hrs i dont see him and Farage getting on. Clashes of personality and leadership of the past make this marriage a divorce pretty quick. Let's say 6 months before farage starts feeling threatened as leader
