Looking for historical info

Hi,I am hoping somebody that has lived in Chiswick for at least 50+ years might have some  knowledge of a place I am trying to find out about. Does anyone know if there was a club on Chiswick High Road in the early 80’s called the 007 club. If so would you kindly share what you know about the place as there’s little info on line. I well remember a restaurant in CHR named 007. I ate there only the once, the music was far too loud to entice me back again.It was owned by a very good friend of mine, now sadly departed, called Shaun Macken, no relation to Rodney, the owner of the Butcher's in TGT.

Foubert's club was called "Cellar Bar" which was more of a late-night bar with music than a nightclub. OO7 bar on Chiswick High Road rings no bells whatsoever.

It's worth asking Terry of The Chiswick Lighting Company (30 Devonshire Road) as he has a phenomenal memory of Chiswick and was here then.I remember a club on the High Road (in a basement, I think it was near where High Road House is now) but I can't remember its name. AI after asking Google says: "The "007 club" in Chiswick was a basement club located on Chiswick High Road in London that was popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s, especially within the alternative music scene (punk, new wave, ska). It is no longer in operation. "About the Original Club"Location: The club was in a basement on Chiswick High Road, near the Chiswick roundabout end."Atmosphere: It was known for an eclectic mix of music, including punk, new wave, ska, and new romantic. Management was reportedly Greek."Closure: The original 007 club in London closed (following a fire) in the early 80s."
