Book Swap

Over the past three weeks I have put 22 books into the book swap cabinet by Stamford Brook Bus Garage. Not once have I had the pleasure to take one away as nothing is there. Last Saturday I left eight books and as returning home on the bus I saw one person take all eight and not leave any. It's a shame as I won't be back for some time.

That was a sad experience David and I can understand you being a bit cheesed off about it.One perhaps will never know if she was going to take them to some charitable location ...or to sell them to a second hand book dealer.I'll continue to make literature donations there as the Cabinet does look attractive and often in want.I left some children's "pop up" books there one day ...and whilst I was at the bus stop to travel to W6 ... a young child with her mother had taken one and looked very happy.I'll carry on using it ...as I have so much to declutter!
