England rise like a Phoenix from the Ashes

Having not beaten Australia Down Under for 14 years, humiliated in the opening 3 Test matches this time round, our cricketers unbelievably displayed guts and courage to actually win the Melbourne Test by 4 wickets.A great Xmas miracle for all our cricket enthusiasts.Next up- Sydney, 4th January.Bring it on.

Remember, the Perth Test match lasted a mere 2 days.The paying public are entitled to see an equal clash between bat and ball, not endure contests heavily loaded in favour of the bowlers.Money conscious cricket and sports channel executives will not tolerate hugely abbreviated Test matches; therefore the nature of the Australasian drop-in wickets will need to be closely examined before "bonkers" Test matches become the norm.

Apparently, in Australia grounds men are called ‘curators’. Something I found out today

Unusual but not a miracle. The, presumably, Australian groundsman had some questionable tactics.
