Trump is a Bully

surreal according to the press reports Trump is negotiating on behalf of Ukraine so they give up territory that Russia has taken by force, plus reduce their military, plus who knows what……Trump is completely ignorant and clearly does not respect any country. I pray the EU steps up we can NOT have a monster like Putin invading any country and gaining. Time to send a real message to trump butt out. We all know what happens next Putin will keep coming and war will happen. Trump wants a win for himself he doesn’t care about the damage and signal it gives, he is a BULLY.

I think we are viewed a little as an aircraft carrier and bulwark against regimes who might interfere with Atlantic trade to and from the USA as much as anything else.The fact that many of our respective countrymen share the same surnames and are distant relatives is not as strong as it was in WW2.Trump is correct about NATO and the fact that the USA has been putting in a disproportionate amount of funding.If Europe stood together militarily the need for the USA would be minimised,but there are too many countries with too many different histories,old animosities and political regimes for that to happen.

Some say one of the reasons the USA piled in to help in W.W. 1 was they wanted ensure the huge loans they had made to the Allies got repaid.Save for Pearl Harbour would they have mobilise? An open question.As thing stands they are little more than an arms dealer that can pull the plug any time of their choosing.It's a myth they are or ever where our closest allies.

It's tragic that we have come to where we are,having to offer huge chunks of a country to a despot to try to get him to back off.If the deal is accepted,it should be with the caveat that Ukraine,or what's left of it,will join NATO.

“ NO NO NO, we Europeans will not accept it.”Pointless the EU stating that because they have to accept that they can’t do anything about it. Ukraine ultimately has to accept that it has to surrender territory so the longer they procrastinate, more people die. Trump realises that. He’s not the bully (in this case), he is just being a realist, which is quite rare for him.

Think the EU collectively have got to grow some balls and unite in telling Trump directly NO NO NO, we Europeans will not accept it. Not just soundbites and asking to be part of the talks. The talks are clearly between the 2 nutters, and the answer has again to be NO. It's that simple, and you sit back and await the response from Trump. I think Chump wants an excuse to stop supporting Ukraine as he knows that his MAGA base doesn't like their tax dollars being spent on 'foreign wars' and wants to go back to America First.

It is reported that one of Putin's terms is the Ukraine halves the size of its armed forces.Now why do think that is?It's obvious he will then regroup and within a year or two invent a reason to take the whole Country.Who's next?Now is not the time for faint hearts and maybe meaningful European forces should be deployed to Western Ukraine as a boots on the ground show of strength.If you want to stop  bullies then sooner you confront them the better. Sadly the West has left it late but there is still time.

"The only way to stop the killing is to bully Ukraine into surrendering territory to Putin."Vladolf Putler would see that as the green light to try and take the rest of Ukraine and then perhaps Moldova and the Baltic states. Appeasement didn't work in the 1930s and it won't work now.

Trump wants the killing to stop and he knows Putin won’t stop and the EU won’t stop him / can’t stop him. The only way to stop the killing is to bully Ukraine into surrendering territory to Putin. It will happen eventually, the question is: how much territory will be surrendered. The sooner Ukraine accepts the inevitable, the sooner the killing stops.
