It worked for me just now ( it's now the second item on the 'news page' so perhaps it's now been fixed). If it still doesn't work for you, here's the text:November 3, 2025Occupants of Ross House, a block of flats on Chiswick High Road, were forced to flee their homes this Saturday (1 November) after a fire broke out at the rear of the Rendezvous Restaurant.Residents including families with young children, were evacuated during the night. One resident described the evacuation as “distressing,” noting that no fire alarm was triggered within the building despite the blaze occurring directly below the residential flats. The London Fire Brigade received reports of the incident at 11:13pm and arrived promptly with two fire engines from Hammersmith and Acton stations.Firefighters discovered a rear outbuilding fully alight, believed to be located in the back patio area near the restaurant’s air conditioning units. The fire was extinguished by 11:39pm, and no injuries were reported. The following day there was a large amount of debris in the area where the fire started. The same resident had contacted the council approximately 30 minutes before the fire to report excessive noise from the restaurant—a recurring issue that has reportedly persisted for several years. The incident has prompted calls for a formal investigation into the building’s fire safety compliance and alarm systems. The London Fire Brigade has not yet confirmed the cause of the fire. There are two photos in the article, the first of a fire engine at the scene off Chiswick High Road and the second of debris in the area at the rear of the restaurant the following morning
