Car Parking illegal fines.

Is there anyone on this forum who could advise please.After receiving 2x£100 parking fines in Iceland car park Abertillery they were later scrapped because I proved I was parked legally.Last week I received another £100 fine for again parking legally. A photo they took again showed me going in and going out of the car park but not in the legal parking space. I will be seeing a solicitor to sue the parking company for harassment.In April and May  2025 my local newspaper the South Wales Argus published 4 stories regarding dozens of motorists being fined with the same happening to them as it did to me. We were threatened with enormous costs and bailiffs taking possessions from our property if the fines were not paid. After appealing my 2 fines the firm apologized and sent me a letter of apology. Dozens of motorists weren't so fortunate and paid the fines out of fear. Many more motorists are still now having these illegal fines for parking in 1 of 4 public car parking space which clearly state Public Parking Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. Should I employ a solicitor to take action through the courts or through the small claims court. Below is a link to one of the 4 Argus stories. Neil, next time time you park there and in future take a photo clearly showing you are legally parked

"I will be seeing a solicitor to sue the parking company for harassment" No chance whatsoever for sending you a ticket, let alone a few letters for not paying, to be deemed as harassment in a court or small claims court. Reasons why and proper routes taken are the route to a conclusion End of story, to be honest

If the same parking company run car parks in Chiswick like they do in my town then it would have a lot to do with Chiswick. Additionally there are many in Chiswick who would have a good knowledge of the situation like Paul who I have just replied to.

I appreciate your help Paul. Regarding your comment, I believe the right term would be Parking Charge Notice (PCN). A private company manages a small car park on land owned by Iceland. The ongoing problem for over 18 months is that 1 camera takes photos of vehicles going in and going out of the car park. A second camera points to an area where there is room for about 10 vehicles. 6 spaces are managed by the parking company whereas the remaining 4 are public spaces owned by the council. It seems like the ongoing problem is the camera facing the 10 spaces is faulty so can't record photos of anyone in those 10 spaces. So the parking company presumptuously assume that EVERNYONE who enters and leaves the car park has parked illegally whilst 4 have parked legally.

Very important to distinguish between PCN (Penalty Charge Notice) issues by councilsFPN (Fix Pentalty Notice) issues by councils, police and tfl.PCN (Parking Charge Notice) issued by private companies for parking on private land against the rules of the land ownerEach of these have very different way off approaching it if you think the charge is not right.https://www.gov.uk/parking-ticketshttps://www.rac.co.uk/drive/advice/legal/parking-charge-notices/But I see you're trying to lump them all under the term "fines" whch I don't think is helpful.
