Shock News!!!

With all the terrible things going on in the world, they all pale into insignificance with the devastating news that Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly are leaving Strictly Come Dancing! Yes folks, they really are! How on earth are we all going to carry on without them? I'm so upset and distressed. I've taken a couple of Kalms to hopefully quell the anxiety this has caused me, but I'm probably going to have to take quite a few more to get me through the day. I might also need to take some Rescue Remedy to help me sleep tonight.It would be wonderful if other like-minded folks could meet up and comfort each other. If so, please reach out!

You are on the money.This woke nonsense has, and even more so now, spread to police recruitment: for example West Yorkshire, one of our biggest police forces is blocking white males applying for jobs in the name of diversity.Merit comes second to ethnicity.On a lighter note, anyone know how Claudia Winkleman gets her hair to look so shiny?Bet the new gal doesn't get anywhere near it.

It's obvious.  Two white women, where is the diversity?They'll be replaced by mixed race/gender/ability persons, as they are already doing with the contestants.

Have never watched Strictly so couldn’t care less as I know little about it. Have seen clips of it on Gogglebox so was aware that Winkelman was a presenter but had no idea who the blond lady was. However, Gogglebox is brilliant. Very funny. Particularly when they have so called ‘celebrities’ partaking. It’s interesting to see how other people view and react to certain programs. Hilarious.

"I wouldn't watch it if it was the only thing on."True, as it would have to be self referential if it was the ONLY thing on TV.It's (a lot) better than it sounds though. I wouldn't miss it, but if it's on, I wouldn't automatically switch channels to look for something else as it's quite funny.
