Recommendations for watch repairs?

Can anyone recommend a local watch repairer? I have a 1980s watch that I would like to get working, or at least get an estimate for a repair.I have previously been a customer of Platinum Prestige in the High Road, but, after major problems with work they did, I don't want to use them again--much as I like to support local businesses.

Not local, but if you have to send it away, Jewellery House in Aberystwyth did a good job on repairing my Casio. 01970 627747

HI James, I have used TCA watches in Leicester twice for 2 automatic watches and they did a great job on both occasions. Worth considering if you don't find anything closer. https://www.luxurywatchrepairers.co.uk/
