Getting to Gatwick by 4 am - 6 people

Hi - I cannot find any trains leaving any of the London stations that will arrive at Gatwick for a 4am check in. There seems to be a big gap in the early hours of the morning.Can anybody advise on any reasonable public transport options that I am missing?Could anyone recommend a minibus option for 6 people + 6 bags?Thank you all!

Been using Grove Park Cars (now Ibis) for many years and they've always proved very reliable. Whichever company you use, you'll need for factor in the money-grabbing £7.00 Gatwick charge for the pleasure of being dropped off at the terminal.

Thanks all - have confirmed there are no trains, so will go with the suggested reliable taxi, not Uber, option!

I used Kewcars http://www.kewcars.co.uk/ for years on a recommendation from a friend. We were both regular flyers then (not so much now) and they never either let either of us down and never caused ny doubt that they would deliver

I would endorse the advice not t book an Uber as have also been let down by them for airport transfers.  Have you looked at Addison Lee for a quote or at the cost of a taxi to Victoria and train from there?

To echo the above advice ref Uber and the like, they can often cancel at the last minute leaving you in the lurch. While more local outfits do this less, the type of vehicle you are after is few and far between (so if it breaks down, you are also in the lurch). I'd be staying at the (excellent, but teeny-tiny) Bloc for peace of mind.

Has a similar problem a while back getting to Stansted. You can book minivans through Uber and probably Bolt but I would suggest seeing what they charge and then getting a quote from someone like Monarch (020 8994 7777) and if it is reasonably close go with them. The big advantage they offer over the ride hire companies is that they are unlikely to let you down at the last minute.

Have you considered an airport hotel? You may be able to get a family room for around the same price it would cost to get a people carrier to take you at that time?
