Doctor waiting times

Grove Park Terrace surgery next available appointment I can get is  9 July. Is this  the normal waiting time to see a doctor these days?

The last couple of times I wanted to talk to a doctor I did it the same day on line. I didn't need an examination. Very convenient for me and must have saved a lot of admin if nothing else, and allowed a lot more patients to be seen.

Where we are my husband 'phoned this morning and has an appointment this Wednesday, and they are in general - excellent.

My surgery has face to face appointments readily available from 1st July. There is also one available tomorrow, which I assume  is there because someone booked an appointment and subsequently cancelled it. You can book emergency appointments on the day, if you ring in the morning and the surgery agrees it's an emergency.

Pretty much yesThe average time is 2 weeks.But than can be shorter orlonger depending on your doctorsdemand,and also why youneed to see the doctor.While one doctor maybe daysanother might be weeks.And thatdoctor that might be a few daysa month on might be weeks.So your doing it ate given is quiet the norm these days.

Not in my experience, though I have been with Chiswick Family Doctors, now merged.  My experience recently has been excellent in terms of wait - though I accept on line sessions.
