I agree Vanessa,but I think those warnings are there to cut down on possible complaints from those who cannot contextualise scripts from years ago or who cannot tell what is fiction or s=what is satirical etc.It's when they cut lines from classic comedies like Porridge that annoys me.In fairness,the BBC rarely does this.I watched Blazing Saddles,the classic Mel Brooks comedy from the 70's a year or so ago on BBC4 and was as surprised that they had even planned to air it as I was when I found it was the complete,unexpurgated version.
