Ghosts at Lyric Hammersmith, recommend, closes 10th May

Just back home after a very satisfactory night at the Lyric theatre, good writing, great performances, reasonably priced, well run...book now as it closes on 10th May....so refreshing compared to what is going on in the West End, we paid £35 for good seats, the equivalent seats for Giant at the Harold Pinter Theatre are £175.

I saw it yesterday afternoon and agree that it's well worth 2.5 hours of anybody's time. A clever updating which keeps the basic plot while rooting it firmly in the 2020s. A splendid performance by Victoria Smurfit as the mother.
