Local social work

I am an apprentice social worker; working and studying out of area.As part of my studies I have the opportunity to work with a charity/ institution of my choice for 70 and 100 days.Please:  anyone know of/ worked with/ used a local social work type organisation (homeless charity/ hospice/ community outreach/ Mental Health/ specialist care/ social care advice charity/ refuge).I currently worked with adults and wish to remain in this area for a while.I would really appreciate any local knowledge so I can start making contact.Thanks

check out the noticeboard in Chiswick library for volunteering opportunities - one board in  entrance foyer and one near the computer section.

To work with the homeless you could pop in to Emmaus House just off Acton High Street or to the Upper Room on Wendell Road. I'm sure both would be delighted to hear from you.
