Foxtons Friday meetings

While it is probably best to avoid comment about the other allegations against the company, I think anyone unfortunate to pop into the Pilot after one of their Friday meetings in the business park can testify that these get togethers were drug and booze fuelled.Have to say I'm a bit surprised by the revelations as Foxtons did seem to be cleaning up its act. They appear to have stopped flyboarding and, although they get complaints, the number doesn't seem to be out of proportion to their size within the industry. Not that I'd ever consider using them.

We haven't had any "Forum Meet Ups"for many years now.Will this thread lead to a Meet Upat The Pilot on the last Friday of this month ... with a look out at The Gunnersbury in case the staff at Foxton's switch venues.

You have a point Julian, they even seen to have been forced to cut back on hair gel.I have a girlfriend who works in the industry (and is a very nice person) who says she can't work out what is going on in the firm. The macho Gordon Gekko type sales culture was all very well in Foxton's heydey before the financial crash but sales are now a relatively unimportant part of estate agency income and most of the job is detailed and mundane work around tenancies. She nearly all of Foxtons new customers come through them buying other firms and her firm gets lots of business from landlords being unhappy with the change.

That's them ruled out of a visit to the White House then, as they would fall foul of Dumbass Donald's clothing adviser, Brian Glenn of Real America Voice. As would have Winston Churchill, whose bust was glowering over the White House confrontation, who wore his one-piece siren suit during WW2 even when he visited FDR at the White House. But how does Elon Musk get away with his casual gear when visiting Dumbass Donald ?

The issue wasn't just their consumption of alcohol. I having been to the pub on a Friday for years so I don't know if their behaviour has improved but back then they seemed to be in every week.

I just wanted to correct an ambiguity in my previous post. When I said the atmosphere in the Pilot was good until kick off at Brentford, that was because the fans left and the pub became much quieter.When you suggest the George on the last Friday of the month, is that when the Foxtons meetings take place? I would, under normal circumstances be much more likely to go there.

You could try the George lV on the last friday of the month.In good weather i know people who avoid that one day in the month. I do know someone who worked for them at HQ. They got out after 2 months. The reason i will leave out.The front page does not surprise me one bit

After a bad experience many years ago I'd always avoided The Pilot on Fridays but was persuaded to go back. There didn't seem to be any estate agents there but Brentford were playing that evening so they might have been scared away. The atmosphere was great until kick off time approached.
