Dear JetteI can highly recommend a Gentleman called Assad. He's very much out of the old school and has spend his life repairing clocks, especially Grandfather clocks. He repaired our Grandfather clock (which is circa 1710 so 300 years old)about 4 years ago, and it hasn't missed a beat since. It turned out that the company who 'repaired' it about four years before that, had in fact sent it on to Assad to repair! His telephoine number is 07847 092485 I expect you'll find he charges considerably less than other companies. He also collected the clock and returned it when fixed. - Richard
