How utterly incompetent is this government?

The UK population is predicted to grow by  4.7 million by 2033.40% of our food needs come from imported food.Environment secretary Steve Reed ascribes to a plan to remove 7% of farmland and reforest it to meet climate change targets.It would be difficult to find less competent individuals dictating our future

There are many plants that can be grown by us in, on and around our homes but too many  of us choose to impermeably pave our gardens to accommodate huge often gas guzzling vehicles instead increasing the heat sink in hot summers and the water run off into our drains and rivers causing and increasing  floods and pollution!Just learn to grow something yourself to make a difference instead of expecting to buy everything all year round wrapped in packaging from a supermarket!

There are fields with solar panels which are also used for grazing animals.Mapping is done from space nowadays and whatever and wherever there is any power generation is likely to be mapped by anyone who wants to.  Russian subs have also been snooping under the sea for years.

Complete madness, should a government encourage farmers to provide food for local consumption or cover thousands of acres with solar panels that don’t touch the sides of our energy needs? Let’s import food hardly a net zero strategy besides being able to control costs. Do the government have a brain cell between them?

and if you purchase a home with solar panels make sure you will own them as sometimes they are leased to a Company.
