Acton Storm Tank

Hi all,I'm looking to move from not too far down the road, only from Shepherds Bush, to Greenend Road.Love the area, although I am a little worried by some articles mentioning horrid smells, especially in the Summer months, coming From the Acton Storm Tanks.I was just wondering if anyone might have greater insight on this and whether there is an issue still & how prevalent / frequent this might be?Any thoughts are much appreciated! I have a friend who lives quite nearby and she says it doesn't smell apart from if there is an exceptionally long, dry, hot spell. Even then it isn't too bad. It used to be much worse in the past. One caveat is that neither of us know whether the situation will change when the super sewer is fully up and running which will be quite soon I think.

I think with all the work and upgrades that have gone on over the years being part of the London super sewer projectthe smell is no longer.
