Knife advert

Earlier today I watched a TV advert for Huusk knives.Given today's trial and another stabbing in Croydon,do forum members think it's appropriate that knives which look more like combat/zombie ones than kitchen ones are advertised on national television?

Forget prison sentences and stints of community work. They turn the offenders into local heroes.Instead, just bring back the birch to everyone found carrying a dangerous blade without a damn good reason for doing so.

Intervention much earlier with constructive activities for the youth of today to do instead of hanging around on street corners.  Cutting all the free after school sports and music and youth clubs hasn't proved to be a saving at all.There also aren't enough facilities nowadays since all Britain's infrastructure is crumbling from lack of investment and maintenance.  When it starts to fall down it gets sold at a knock down price to the man who knows a man.  The worth is lost and the money is not invested in the youth of today or the country.

They don't care as have heard they do expect to die during these attacks so a prison sentence means nothing and possibly threat of a death sentence would still not stop some of them, so security at all venues, locked doors, returned home safely.

A two year mandatory prison sentence for wrongful carrying a knife would put an immediate stop to this killing spree.But only a Government free of woke has the means to impose such a measure, and there is one in waiting.

"The Southport killer sentenced today had links to Rwanda."He is the British-born son of Rwandan immigrants, and there is no indication he has even been to that country. Clearly something went badly wrong with his mental health while growing up in this country, and it is a tragedy for all concerned that he was not sectioned and put in a secure facility for the mentally ill before he committed his atrocity.

“What is needed is more Stop And Search. And more coppers on the streets to do it.”Totally agree. And you can’t just blame the likes of Amazon. Any kid who really wants to do some harm could just as easily take a knife from his parents or carers or grannies kitchen, surely? The police need to clamp down on gang warfare and Stop and Search would be a good start.

The TV stations don't give a toss about what is advertised nowadays, Ben. They're desperate for money.What is needed is more Stop And Search. And more coppers on the streets to do it.As each year passes, so the number of stop and searches decreases dramatically.And bollocks to the woolly-minded liberal do-gooders who complain that too many off-whites are being searched. It's obvious they're the evil bastards who do most of the  stabbings.

No it's not but perhaps after watching some of the other daytime ads , they'll start saving up for funerals,buy private health care and limited edition coins of past Royals.Bring back ads for Smash ,Tunes and Fox's Glacier mints !

Maybe Anna's discovered there are other countries of the world?Since so many children aren't actually going to school and that this is a big problem since the pandemic perhaps that isn't a good enough excuse.

The ad falls within current guidelines,is shown during school hours so schoolkids are unlikely to see it (their words not mine)and was reviewed last year but will be again if sufficient numbers complain.There's a lot of complaints online about the knives losing their sharpness,non delivery, a scam company etc but that's not the (unavoidable pun alert)! point.
