Peter Mandelson, wise choice?

Is it just me, or is it just possible that a bunch of crazed bible thumping MAGA Christian nationalists might object to his sexuality? After all, Leviticus does state at 20:13: "If a man also lie with a man, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."If his counterpart in Washington DC believed in the literal truth of the Bible (I don't by the way!), this could be an obstacle to good diplomatic relations for PM?

Disregarding Peter Mandelson's sexual and religious orientations, Free Gear Keir has chosen as Ambassador to the USA a man who once described Trump as being "little short of a white nationalist and racist".Add this insult to the fact that Mandelson is sold on trading with Europe at the exclusion of America, while Trump has told his mate Nigel he could do great things with increasing trade deals with us.Farage has offered his services to the PM, but he knew the offer was never going to be taken up.I would say the Prince of Darkness has one tall order on his hands to get the Don onside.
