Ealing council goes against it's own guidelines
Ealing council has decided not to participate in the public hearing on John Lewis' proposal to turn the area near West Ealing Elizabeth line station into a mini village kitted out with their furniture. Despite the fact that the proposal goes against the council's local plan and does not contain the requisite number of ''affordable homes'', the Labour run council is walking away from its responsibilities. Opposing the scheme is now down to a local protest group who successfully defeated the council over the proposed sell off of a hall beside Ealing town hall that the public actually own. Hounslow council may be a pain but these clowns are really beyond contempt.
