Soho pedestrianisation

More sensible businesses realising that getting rid of cars is better for trade.
The Soho Business Association is calling for the Mayor to take control from Westminster Council and pedestrianise Soho alongside Oxford Street. Very sensible. Well when i lived in soho for 8 years in the 80s they had this idea of paving the square as they called it.Oxford street to shaftsbury avenue and regent street to charring cross road. With early and late delivery access.It was quashed very quickly and forgotten. But i guess the area has changed a lot since then

Depends how they define the boundaries of Soho. They would probably need to leave a few streets open for access like Broadwick Street, Wardour Street and Dean street. Otherwise no issue with it.
