From nextdoor:Warning to residents of East Chiswick - particularly A, B, C Roads, Glebe Estate & likely houses in between & on Chiswick Lane & Dev.Rd. The local Gyspy community are knocking on doors today offering building work.Please be aware this is a scam - young blonde boy no older than 14, said his name was Jack, thick Irish accent, claiming to be working across the road - there is absolutely no building work taking place across from us! He also stated we have a problem with our roof which we don't as it has recently been checked.They are looking for ways to access properties & or deposits for work pending - this has been their M.O with other properties in the Grove Park area where clients of mine have been caught out!Please be security aware, vigilant of your own & your neighbours properties.Take Care.
