Ravenscourt Hospital redevelopemt

I have noticed after looking at the  plans that the redevelopment creates a gated development closing off pedestian and cyclists right of way along Ravenscourt Square through from Goldhawk Road to Ravenscourt Gardens.  At night time when Ravenscourt Park is closed, this route is an important cut through.

There previously was a liftable barrier from Ravenscourt Square to where the nursing home is although I think maybe it wasn't there the last time I was along there because of construction.

finding other images of the proposals, there seems to be unneccessary gates for pedestrians and cyclists as well twice along Ravenscourt Square which would not be welcome, instead a barrier to easy flow along Ravenscourt square even though they should be accessible 24hrs https://www.ravenscourtparkhospital.info/the-proposals/#block-12

looking through the planning documents i found this:The site would provide a permanent pedestrian and cycle link through the site via Ravenscourt Square between Goldhawk Road and Ravenscourt Gardens. A further daytime link (open between 07:00 - 22:00) would be provided across the site between Ravenscourt Square and Ravenscourt Park via a gated route. This would enable permeability from the east with connections to the network of footpaths that run across Ravenscourt Park; an element that is currently unavailable. This would therefore represent a benefit to the public.the intention is to erect the gates to control the flow of vehicles along the road, but not to prevent the passage of pedestrians and cyclists.

I don't think so. The summary documentation for the scheme says "The existing access rights across Ravenscourt Square, including the Chiswick NursingCentre and relevant residential properties, will be retained as part of the management of the private road, during the construction and operation of the proposed development."Maybe the access will need to be restricted during some of the construction but I couldn't see anything about this route being closed off for walking and cycling.
