Royal Mail redelivery request accepted but not delivered

Hi. - does anyone know of any way of getting in contact with the Chiswick Delivery office. I  was notified that a delivery was due on Wednesday, and I requested redelivery for Thursday, which was accepted and shown in the tracker.. I can see from the tracker that it was retained by the Chiswick delivery office on Tuesday and there is a statement saying they will attempt redelivery on Thursday. But nothing was delivered today. So far I have only been able to get  on to a Royal Mail number that confirms the item is in transit.Any suggestions?

My intercom is broken and I am disabled and stuck in my bedroom at the back of my flat right now so when they press my bell I have no way of answering the door.  I have carers but no one will deliver to a fixed time.  I always got my royal mail post but now I end up online re ordering deliveries all he time because no one waits for me to get to the door when I can.  Weird thing is when the RM deliver for Amazon they leave it on the doorstep just like Amazon do!

I'd pop into their collection office that's adjacent to the main post office take I.D with you. Always helpful in there.

If you're able to, I'd suggest nipping into the office. I've always found them friendly and helpful (unlike the Post Office team).

This does not need a signature, but that doesn’t give me confidence. There just doesn’t seem to be a way to contact them and to speak to anyone directly.

We had a similar problem and they never delivered because it was 'special delivery' and had to be signed for.
