stabbing in beaumont road

I was walking home on Beaumont Road this afternoon  and saw police and tape marking a crime scene. An officer said a man was stabbed but couldn't give more details. Does anyone have more info?

The question you need to ask yourself there is have police officers suddenly become more inclined to criminality under Sadiq Khan or have more been arrested because detection and prosecution of their crimes become more robust. If you believe it is the former I'd really love to hear your explanation.

Here is the actual data on this. I've focused on knife crime because the overall crime figures are inflated by the explosion of reports of online fraud. The graph below shows knife crime is down under the current Mayor. The same can be said for gun crime, anti-social behaviour and murder. The gun crime rate is down dramatically.

Just to be clear I think knife crime and crime in general is a bad thing. I also think it is very bad that it is rising in London.My point remains that rising crime is a national trend which most would attribute to reduced real terms funding reductions for the police for the Home Office.In London our crime has risen with this trend but less so. These facts won't stop the obsessive Sadiq Khan bashers coming out of the woodwork everytime there is a stabbing on our streets.

"There is a wealth of information on the net about cultural voting."There is if you look on dodgy right wing Facebook groups but actual research shows that it is not a significant factor in elections. The only time it has really come to bear in London is in Tower Hamlets were it worked against Labour.Immigrant communities, including predominantly white ones, do tend to vote Labour in London elections for many reasons but the rhetoric at the national level in the Tory party about immigration may be the most important.Sadiq's record on crime is relatively good. Yes crimes have risen in London but they have done across the country as Home Office funding for policing fell. In London the increase has been less than elsewhere. He only provides a small fraction of the overall budget for the police but whatever is being done with that appears to be working.

I visit "Helina's" Dry Cleaners & Laundry in Acton Lane about once a week and on departing often walk along Steele Road and Beaumont Road,passing the peaceful looking "Swan" Pub on my way back to the High Road.Beaumont ("my old butler's name!")Road always seems quiet, peaceful and safe. I'm horrified to hear now that I wander down such a potentially dangerous area ...(South Acton).The area is now tainted.

Many boroughs have both high crime rate areas as well as low crime rate areas.Richmond upon Thames as I'm sure you well know has one of the lowest (possibly the lowest) crime rates among the London Boroughs, but it's a massive generalisation to paint a whole borough as being the same as the worst of its parts.

It has been for decades, particularly organised crime.When my identity was cloned the investigating officers from the MPS and HMRC was quiteopen that cloned documents were really easy to obtain, particularly in Brentford where the forgers and enforcers lived.

Hounslow Borough has become very violent and rife with crime.

I live close by and asked a police woman who told me the victim is in hospital they do not know his current condition and that there are 3 suspects . The attack seemed to happen in broad daylight around 2pm. Police still there now.
