Have I missed the new series of Have I Got News for You?

Monday nights on BBC1 aren't the same anymore. The corporation that insists it has no biases and treads the centre line has to bring back the show now we have a Socialist government in charge and losing popularity fast. It doesn't have to be Hislop and Merton, any snidey right wingers will do. Come on the overpaid clowns in W1, get a new series commissioned fast!

Now that Labour are in power the programme might be worth watching again.Fourteen years of Toryism has given the usual lovey celeb in control, clever Ian Hislop, and comic genius Paul Merton carte blanche to demean capitalism with all its flaws, Brexit, and anything unfavourable to Guardian speak.Now that Free-Gear-Keir is residing in number 10 the satire should be more balanced.

But the extended "a bit more" version went out on Mondays. Which is a right pain for HIGNFY fans who don't want to wait, but do want the extended version.
