BSi Building redevelopment

Wondering if there is anyone with some knowledge about the BSi redevelopment plans and the lack of parking provision for some 400 apartments and some houses. I have been through the documents on offer, and there is little mention of parking provision for an already heavily saturated parking zone.

My recollection is that the development was being described as car free i.e. the new units would not be entitled to residents permits in nearby zones. As you say, there is little capacity in the area to accommodate extra parking. Anyone living next to housing described as car free knows it is a misnomer and obviously more people living in an area generates extra parking. However most of the units in this development are co-living units so they will not be as impactful as other types of accommodation. The town houses and the affordable units in the annex may generate slightly more pressure in the area but there are only around 60 of these in total. Most people will be using the station for the daily commute so parking pressure is likely to come from visitors and services. My guess would be that you don't have too much to worry about but anyone living in the immediate area would have a better understanding of the likely impact.
