Chrome plating firm?

I am looking for a company to chrome plate a small item.I have found a firm in Birmingham but that would mean posting it there and back which I want to avoid as the object is irreplaceable.Does anyone know a firm within an hour's drive or near an Underground station?

Just so you know Gary Oliff no longer does plating, Isleworh Plating is now a block of flats and the Golden one has a high minimum charge but thank's again for the feed back.The good news is I have been tipped off about Jackson's in Hounslow who have now taken on the job at a very fair price.

About 5 years ago I used Gary Oliff  from  Metal Finishers in  Hayes to re-plate a small item. 07931 557281  They did an excellant job at a reasonable price.
