I've received your mail, Nick, and will try to respond later this evening. Could you please tell me by email the PCN number and your vehicle's number. If no payment is made, Hounslow will eventually issue an Order for Recovery, at which point you will be able to appeal to the Traffic Enforcement Centre (TEC), asking them to stop the escalation and revert the penalty to the original £130, or discounted to £65, because you've only just received the PCN.TEC is a specialist unit of Northampton County Court that deals with long-unpaid PCNs for all of England and Wales. It functions largely by email, and you don't need to worry about "going to court".We might be able to get the PCN reissued by an informal approach to Hounslow; I'll cover that in my email response.
