Petition against relocation of Herbarium at queue

The existing building where specimens are kept is to be relocated under plans by the Trustees of Kew. It is to be moved to a new building in Reading. Staff including scientists working at the Herbarium are against the plan. There is plenty of information regarding the reasons for the proposed move on the Kew Gardens website but why bother to get informed when you can just sign a petition to disagree with something you know nothing about?

do we know why Kew Gardens want to relocate the Herbarium to Reading. I would think it makes more sense to keep it where it is next door to the Gardens.

Know doubt the trustees want to build a banquet hall on the spot?I feel bad for the Lords, ladies, Sirs and trustees when they send me a begging  email for more funds.
