Station House / Grove Park Tavern - no work being done?

Once the boards went up it seemed like they were very quick to gut the place but i haven't seen any work being done there in months - have i just missed it? I am worried that this building does not have listed status (which seems strange given its age) and if left to the elements long enough might just fall down......

Well whatever the planning status, there's no going back now - the building is down to bare brick walls and rafters.It certainly does look precarious.

I may have got this wrong but I think that the owners already have permission to proceed with work expanding the building and converting part to residential. They have subsequently made another application with a slightly different design which doesn't affect the layout of the pub area. Of course that doesn't mean your speculation that work is being delayed by this application is wrong.

Planning application 00527/2/P3(3i,10i) still says "decision pending" on the Hounslow Council planning portal, which may be the reason for slow or no work on site.

Let's hope it isn't going to be Chiswick's version of the Crooked House at Himley.

There is work going on but there only seem to be a couple of men working - certainly not the level of activity you would expect of a project that size.I agree it looks very worrying. There is a board with the name of the developer/builder (which I've now forgotten) but Googling didn't reveal much.
