Dukes Meadows Travellers - Thanks to GS council parks contractor

Dukes Meadows Trust is grateful to GS for its very swift clear up after the Travellers and the installation of an earth bund to protect the field. We are working with the council to have a strong barrier installed there, as access is needed for parks maintenanance vehicles.The Travellers left late yesterday and GS was on site at dawn to clear up before people start to use the park. They also repaired the roundabout that was bunged up with sand. Not a nice job but carried out swiftly and dilligently. Thank you.

Well it looks as though we owe GS a big thank you for the swift clear up of the field adjacent to the Children’s play facilities, and for going out of their way to clear the sand away from some of the play equipment.A big thank you to the people who were involved in arranging such a swift response.

Kathleen, for what it's worth there were clear impressions on the grass showing vehicles had driven up to and probably along the side pathway beside the Splash Pool.They may have been from GS activities of course.
