Are parking restrictions enforced today in Chiswick?

You can park in the Glebe Estate at various times for nowt when you have to pay in CHR. Given CHR is a major through route, perhaps it's not a bad idea to disinscentivise parking in CHR for those who can get away with parking a short walk away.

In the Homefield Ward.Have I got this right then, you can park for free in my road just off CHR but not in CHR itself?Bonkers, if that's the case.

Where did you look at the pay meter? Unless the rules have changed recently, there is a Bank Holiday exemption in the CPZs surrounding the High Road, but not on the High Road itself.

A pay meter? Do they still have any of those?😊
Andrew, good question. I don't know about yellow lines but on the pay meter I looked at for a parking bay in the Hounslow part of Chiswick it says no charge on Bank and Public Holidays. Ealing may be different.Chiswick House Grounds car park does not make this exception.
Were yellow lines enforced on CHR on Bank Holiday Monday? And, if they were, did the CEOs wait until 11am before descending en-masse to ticket the unsuspecting motorists (like I witnessed quite a few years ago)?Anyone know?

In our CPZ (Central Chiswick) parking restrictions don't apply on Bank Holidays. But they do on Chiswick High Road. I imagine the traffic wardens will have a field day!

Hounslow Council should respond to your post.
