Coronation Fly Past

Hi,I recall in the past forum threads/posts about the route for previous royal fly pasts.  In particular the last Jubilee.I think there also used to be a fly past each year on the Queen’s birthday too (or it was to mark an annual occasion of some sort.)  Those fly pasts seemed to fly almost directly over my old house on Rusthall Avenue.Can anyone predict the route tomorrow and a good place to view it?  Would the open space next to Kensington Palace near the Round Pond be a good spot?Thanks,Joe

I saw the Red Arrows passing over Barnes on their way home after the Buckingham Palace appearance ... no red, white and blue smoke though

Since they have rehearsed this flypast they could perhaps use it at the next Trooping the Colour.

Furnivall Gardens near Hammersmith Bridge is usually a great spot to catch the flypast. The main formation (jets/large transports) are still in formation as it's only one minute's flying time from Buckingham Palace. The slower helicopters will probably peel off earlier, heading over Fulham/Putney. Of course you can get lucky and have the whole flypast crossing right over Chiswick, but at Furnivall Gardens you won't have buildings obscuring your view. Worth keeping a very close eye on the weather though. Low cloud and/or rain will put a kibosh on it.

You should be able to see everything from Kensington Gardens just after they overfly Buck House from 2.30pm, but it is not clear how the various formations will then disperse.  However, I think there is a good chance that at least the Red Arrows will come over Chiswick at 2.37pm as their route takes in Heathrow on the way to Windsor.
