I'm with Felicity on supporting our local independent coffee and snack businesses and for me its definitely Waft, I forgot to mention in my previous post that their Hot Chocolate is the best in Chiswick !

Cheapest cup of tea? Waitrose, if you have a Waitrose card and do a shop there? Otherwise I would think it would be Greggs.Pret does seem to be packed a lot and I have been in there and the staff were lovely but I'm still going to stick with places which are local independents. They all must be really struggling, I can't be the only one who has recently taken a long look at my finances and realised that the amount spent on coffee needs to be reduced. I used to pick up a cup everytime I went to the shops on the High Road but no longer do that except at the aforementioned Waitrose.

What I want to know: where is the cheapest cup of tea on Chiswick high road?
Simon Pedley ● 458d
That's just the tip of the iceberg. End to end there are just over eighty places with direct frontage on to CHR offering vital sustenance to weary beleaguered Chiswick folk. Not nearly enough you cry! Fear not, there are many many more in the adjoining side roads with offerings that will delight.

Good point and suggestion LorraineTo be honest...I didn't want to be SADDLED with too many competitors today!

You didn't include Waft which always busy and, imho, serves the best coffee etc and very good cakes and savoury snacks.
