it ( the delays and trady response ) is really down to shoddy outsourcung contracts, service level agreements that drive the repsonse, and no penalty for bearting the SLA.In reality this could have been filled and restored in 24 hours -once the pipe was fixed - however there's no doubt a platinum service level and price for that- Bath Road i guess is on the bronze/tin service and thats why we're still waiting. No-one at hounsslow highways or Thames water is incentivised to do anything more than their SLA contract says, hence why theyve clung onto weds 25th as the service restoral date, or not as the case may be
