We have a single and small double 4ft both with wooden white frames they are in good condition so would rather not take them to the dump. Does anyone know how we can give them to a good home or charity?

Hi Richard, it’s in good condition, we have dismantled the bed so it will easily fit in a car. It has all the screws. My email is jaynet@ebigpicture.co.uk if you make contact I can send pictures, thank you

Hi JayneIf you still want to get rid of the single bedframe I might be interested, but I can't get the PM system here to work. Any other means of contacting you that you don't mind posting here ?
i found it hard to get rid of beds as people don't have cars large enough. in the nend there was a nice chap on facebook marketplace with a large van that took them - i was just happy they didn't end up in the dump

www.trashnothing.com is an alternative interface for the freecycle groups which can be easier to access.Nextdoor is often mentioned as a much used in Chiswick.I understand there is also Facebook Marketplace.BHF is so successful they can afford to be fussy. Petit Miracles in Hammersmith will upcycle small items which may not quite meet BHF standards (they also teach small reairs).Trinity appears to have fairly recently changed to be Royal Trinity and changed the scope of their shops. There was a recentt article about them on CW4.com.

British heart foundation so disappointing arrived this morning to pick up single white bedframe and mattress having arranged everything and the pick up chaps won’t take the bedframe because it is painted white how mad is that? A good quality bedframe they did take the mattress. Tried freecycle having trouble joining says membership pending. Tried Trinity don’t take furniture any other suggestions? Thanks
