When I lived in Ealing (admittedly many years ago), the Red Lion was one of my favourite pubs, not least for the fact that it served an excellent pint of Chiswick Ale, a much missed session pint. Really hope it reopens soon, including with the old photos and memorabilia from Ealing Studios across the road, if they have survived subsequent renovations.Meanwhile, re the pizzeria next door, I'm afraid to say that that location has had quite a few different restaurants, including a very nice French-style bistrt which I partuclarly recall. but none has ever lasted very long.Strnage - you'd have thought it a good site, but maybe not?
